Hello, and welcome to the website of the Jamesburg Revitalization
Coalition! We are a group whose mission is to honor Jamesburg's past while working to preserve its future. If you'd like to get involved, feel free to join us at one of our monthly meetings at Fiddleheads Restaurant, 27
East Railroad Avenue. Meetings take place on the third Thursday of
every month and start at approximately 7PM. What's Happening? July 31, 2010 - In cooperation with the NJ Peach Promotion Council, the Jamesburg Farmers market will be having a "Peach Party" celebrating NJ's peach harvest. We will raffle off a peach basket, have free kids activity sheets, peach recipe booklets, and much more. Bring the whole family! July 3 - August 21, 2010 - The Farmers Market is Here! Come down to the Presbyterian Church on Gatzmer Avenue every Saturday 9AM - 2PM between now and August 21st for the fruits and vegetables our area has to offer! Treat yourself to some delicious kettle corn while you're at it! May 31, 2010 - Memorial Day Parade! The Jamesburg-Monroe-Helmetta Parade is one of the longest running parades in New Jersey; 2010 marks the 127th edition! The parade is organized by the American Legion Star Post 127 and a committee of citizens and groups, including the JRC. We remember and honor our military for their contributions and sacrifice. |
