We have had an interesting year so far and it looks good for the last months of the year. We have a successful Farmer's Market, we are gearing up for our annual Buckelew 5K Fitness run/walk and preparing for the Annual Historic Holiday Carriage Rides.
We have submitted for some grants and hopefully will have some good news in the near future.
I hope that everyone will be supporting the volunteer work by others as well as our own. The Patriotic Committee which organizes the Annual Memorial Day Parade will begin meeting in October and the Street Festival Committee begins meeting the end of September. These are improtant events for our community, please get involved.
Life is challenging, things happen that sometines are not good. We have to move on and continue fighting the good fight no matter what happens. People make mistakes, even hard working good people. We must learn from those mistakes and move on. We hope to send healing energy out so that the injured can recover. We need to eventually forgive and be kind to our fellow human beings, even when they do things that are incomprehensible to us and those in our lives. Every one in our community needs our help...
